Tulsi Overseas Non-Woven Felt

Felt for Automotive Interiors

Non-woven felt for NVH and thermal insulation in vehicles — dash insulators, door trims, floor and cabin insulation.

What a cabin sounds like without it

Strip the felt out of a car’s interior and what’s left is bare metal, glass and plastic — all efficient conductors of engine noise, road vibration and heat into the cabin. NVH — noise, vibration and harshness — is the industry’s name for exactly that problem, and it’s what an interior is engineered against from the dash to the trunk.

Where it goes in, and why there

  • Dash & firewall — the first barrier between engine heat/noise and the driver
  • Door trim — backing that stops the door panel resonating and rattling
  • Floor & cabin — absorbs road and drivetrain noise before it reaches the seats
  • Parcel-tray & trunk — the last layer standing between the trunk and the cabin

Each location asks for a different density and thickness, which is why we build these as die-cut or moulded parts to your profile rather than a single generic mat.

Frequently asked questions

Where is felt used in a car?
Felt is used throughout the interior — dash and firewall insulators, door-trim panel backings, floor and cabin insulation, parcel trays and trunk lining — wherever noise, vibration or heat needs to be controlled.
Can the felt be supplied as finished parts?
Yes. We supply automotive felt as rolls, sheets or die-cut / moulded components finished to your part profile and OEM specification.
